FAQ
Questions about quotes
What is a sworn translation?
It's a translation made by a translator who is officially authorised to certify translations. I stamp and sign each one to confirm that it matches the original, and that is what makes it valid for courts, notaries and public offices. An ordinary translation, however good, doesn't carry that guarantee.
How do I get a quote?
The quickest way is the quote form: upload a scan or photo of the document, choose the languages and tell me how soon you need it. I'll reply with a fixed price and a delivery date, usually within a few hours on working days. You can also send the document by email or WhatsApp.
How long does a translation take?
A standard document usually takes 3 to 5 working days. If you're in a hurry, express delivery takes 1 to 2 days, and short documents can often be done the same day. The exact date depends on the length, so I always confirm it in the quote.
Do you need the original document?
Not to get started. A clear scan or photo is enough. Some offices, though, want the translation bound to the original or to a notarised copy. If that applies to you, I'll tell you before you pay anything.
